I am sorry that I haven't been more faithful in keeping up with my blogs. I have just added pictures from my trip to Arizona and from the birthdays that we have celebrated since then.
As you know Karalynn turned 7 on the 7th of November. We were lucky to have Uncle Chuck visiting us that weekend. He even offered to bake her cake! It was wonderful!! Chuck's friend, Elizabeth, went out with us. It was fun. We went out to dinner at Applebee's and then we went bowling. I don't have any pix of the bowling part of our date, cause they were using the black lights and I just didn't take any.
Brianna and AJ combined their birthday dinners again this year. It was lots of fun! We took the kids to Tempenyaki. It is a wonderful Japaneeze restaurant. Brianna wasn't sure if she was supposed to be eating or just watching the chef. They were all watching him with mouths hanging wide open. It was quite fun for Alan and I to watch. Brianna's really big gift came the following week when her fiancee (now husband) came home early from Boot Camp due to injuries he sustained there. We have really enjoyed having him here.
Well I am going to sign out for now. I promise to put wedding and christmas on here as soon as I can get pictures uploaded. I will write all about how wonderful it was. Hope you are all doing well and remember that I love you all with all my heart!!

Celebrating 62 Years!
I had the wonderful chance to zip down to Arizona and spend time with my family there. It was a lot of fun. As I mentioned before, it was a much needed vacation. We got to go to the Texas Road House for dinner with the whole crew! We even made sure that they sang to Dad. We were also celebrating Jeff passing his license test to be a head-shrinker for the Army! Way to go Jeff! On Friday, Mom, Dad, Jeff, Sarah, and I were able to go to the Temple in Mesa. It was wonderful. Nina was an angel and watched Caty's three kids as well as Jeff and Sarah's three! Saturday we got to go and listen to Dad's favorite local band The Due West Trio. They were really good! We also had a little party for him that night. Nina made lots of yummy cake! It was lots of fun, but it is nice to be home in my own bed and with Alan and the kids again. This Sunday is the kids Primary Program at church. This is Darcy's first. I am actually playing my flute for three songs. Practice went well today. Well I will write more later.

The Beginning
In the beginning, I wrote letters with pen and paper. Then communication switched to emails. Now my awesome sister, Sarah has taught me the awesome concept of blogging. So here we are starting this new age of sharing thoughts and fun stuff! I am actually having a well earned vacation away from the kiddies! I was able to leave Alan and the kids and fly down to spend time with Mom and Dad and my sibs. The only sibs not here are Jere and Jen (cause they are in Italy having fun with out us). Dad's birthday is Saturday and we get to party with him. I am excited about hanging with Jeff before he is shipped off to Germany and then to Iraq.
Now to talk about us.
Alan is still working for UTA. This last May he graduated from University of Phoenix with his bachelor's degree in business management. He is really glad to be done and we are all proud of him for his accomplishment.
Brianna has found the love of her life! So now we are planning a wedding for December 22nd! We are excited about this. He is a really great kid and will make a great addition to our family. We are still encouraging her to register for school in January. She is planning on attending Weber State University and study Social Work.
AJ is absolutely loving his first year of seminary! He is in the Jazz band at the junior high. He has been playing trumpet now for 3 years and loves it.
Arianna is enjoying being in the same school with both her brothers. She plays violin in the school orchestra. She has been playing for 2 years and played all the prelude music for Laura's baptism last June.
Aryus loves junior high! He has also started picking up Alan's old guitar and learning to play it while watching you tube. He just finished a winning season of pee wee football. He loved playing and is wanting to do it again next year.
Sabrina is also progressing well with piano and is enjoying 5th grade. She is also enjoying being the oldest sib at school. She likes to feel like she is "in charge". She is also wanting to take ballet instead of playing basketball this year.
Laura was baptized back in June and loves activity days. She is enjoying 3rd grade, but I am still having a hard time getting her to read. She also plays piano. She is taking a dance class with Karalynn and they love it. They were taking tumbling, but decided that dance would be more fun.
Karalynn is also loving school. She is also taking piano and loves her dance class. She has a very take charge personality and is very good at being the "boss" whenever she plays with the others.
Darcy Rose is growing like a weed. She likes being the only kid at home during the day (except that mom babysits for others). We just had to cut her hair very short, but she loves it. She reminds us daily that she is a princess. If you ask her what my favorite flower is she will tell you that she is.
Well that is all for now. Must leave room for later blogging sessions.
